Bridges Sand & Spray also specialise in bridge maintenance, we have completed several over the years, the most recent being the Whataroa Bridge on the West Coast. The buildings comprise of one large building, which incorporates office and staff
facilities, a large paint booth purpose built for painting trucks and B-trains,
also a very large blasting enclosure 14m x 20m and a large multi purpose area
used for panelbeating, mechanical services and light engineering. The building is equipped with an overhead crane for lifting in the Blasting booth and multi purpose area elsewhere by Forklift and Mobile Cranes. All staff have full training in operation of the equipment together with training on Health and Safety in the workplace, Working on the Road Safety, First Aid Training, Fork lift operator training .Specialists in all types of sandblasting & protective coatings systems |
The main centre of operation for the business is at Aorangi Road, Washdyke, Timaru. These premises provide an undercover work area of approximately one acre. |
Truck Refurbishment We undertake all kinds of truck refurbishment, from the removal of rust & dents from cabs, to a complete repaint including cab, chassis, and rims. Sandblasting & Spraypainting Services is South Canterbury’s only approved applicator of Dinol rust prevention systems from Sweden. |

Structural Steel Over the years Sand & Spray have undertaken many large structural steel jobs, these have varied from structural steel in buildings and stadiums to bridges all over the country. The painting systems used on these jobs have varied from a single coat of zinc or galvanising, to a full 3 coat system. |
Sand & Spray have several mobile blasting units, therefore we can travel throughout
the country to undertake these jobs. We also have several trucks and cranes
allowing us to do extremely large jobs. |
